This year, my teacher Mrs Tafea has teached a lot of  new things for learning. She has teached new TOPICS for all of the subjects in learning.

CHALLENGES:

This year has been challenging because of Covid 19. All stores and schools were locked, people have been banned from contacting people, people were told to stay at home to save lives and stay safe, people had to contact online, we also had to practise social distancing. It has been also hard (for Mrs Tafea) because many of the students in class don’t do any of the work that has been given.

My favourite things to do:

At school I like to play sports, but I like to do learning in class way more than games. I also like to help other students who need help, I like learning new topics about each subject. My favourite subject is Maths and Reading. I like Maths because everytime after school, I go home and challenge my brother (he says he didn’t learn ANYTHING about it! HAHA). I like Reading because there are always new and hard questions and instructions that we have to do! “SO MUCH FUN!”

My favourite/new things that I have learned this year:

In class, I have so many things that I like about that I have learned in 2020. I have learned ratio ( BEDMAS), order of operation, mixed fraction, magic numbers, 3 level questioning ( critical questioning ) and much more! I have a friend who is also good with her Samoan. She speaks to me when she is struggling with anything in her work, her name is Janett Hala. My most common favourite project that I have done/learned this year is the “HUMAN BODY PART BOOKLET”. I and my buddy Janett have worked so HARD to complete everything that is in the booklet now (but we have finished it).

Highlight:

My highlight is to reach my goals and to help other students. I am also trying to get a prize at the end of the year to make my parents proud ( I GOT A PRIZE! ). I also want to beat my level this year (2020) or next year (2021). I think I have achieved my goal because the teacher and I had a one to one conferencing when she shared my curriculum levels for the end of the year. The teacher kept saying that she is so happy and proud with my achievements and that might mean something.
