Simplifying Fractions #2

Rm 7 was learning how to simplify proper fractions and improper fractions. Our teacher did the first two for each one so we can follow the steps that she used to solve it out, we were asked to answer the questions and record our voices but I didn't know how to do that so I explained it on google drawing. This activity was easier than our first task: multiplying, adding, subtracting, and dividing improper and proper fractions. This maths activity helped me with my multiplying and halving. This is what I did and I hope you learn something new as well!
Simplify proper fraction

2/6 =2x1 & 2x3= 13

4/16= 4x1 & 4x4= ¼

2/12= 2x1 & 2x6= ⅙

5/20=5x1 & 5x4= ¼

6/18= 6x1 & 6x3= ⅓

3/15= 3x1 & 3x5= ⅕

4/16=4x1 & 4x4= ¼

3/18= 3x1 & 3x6= ⅙

5/15= 5x1 & 5x3= ⅓

Simplify Improper fraction

8/3= 3x2+2=8 = 2 2/3

7/2= 2x3+1=7 = 3 ½

9/5= 5x1+4=9= 5 ⅘

5/4= 4x1+1=5= 4 ¼

10/3= 3x3+1=10= 3 ⅓

11/5= 5x2+1=11= 5 ⅕

13/4=4x3+1=13= 4 ⅓

8/7= 7x1+1=8= 7 1/7

15/7= 7x2+1=15= 7 1/7
