Connecting the brain- Vocabulary

My buddy ( Htoo Say Wah ) and I made a slideshow of vocabulary, finding the mean of the word. We decided to create this slide show because we were told to be creative and build something for our book: Is that so- Connecting to the brain. I have learned more information and facts about brains from this book!

I will do... to protect my netbook: 

Never eat or drink near my netbook Leave the netbook in the middle of the table, not on the edges because it will fall of the table and break

 Look after the charger, netbook case and the netbook 

Hold it with two hands when walking. Don't go on your netbook when you are walking

I will always take care of my netbook because I don't want my parents to pay for the damage that I caused. Breaking something that I don't own shouldn't be happening, it happens because I am not reliable to take care of my netbook and it also happens to other belongings because they get touched by the person who doesn't own it! NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING THAT IS NOT YOURS!! 

Junefia- About me 2021

 

Talofa lava, my name is Junefia Wilco. I am a year 7 student in Mrs Ashley's class ( Room 8 ) at Tamaki Primary School. I am 11 years old and I was born in Samoa, Savai'i. I now live in a beautiful city called "Auckland". I have 3 brothers and 0 sisters, so I am the only girl, I'm the second eldest, 3rd youngest. I enjoy learning at TPS, I love learning new things everyday and I also like playing sports! My goal is to try so hard at school to challenge students that are hard everyday! I also want to move to higher levels on every subject!

Room 8 behaviour matrix 2021

 

This is my class's behaviour matrix for 2021. We created these rules for Rm 8 students to follow them where they go, if you sign the matrix then you have to follow the rules about the behaviour you show, if you don't then it mean that you won't be showing these behaviour wherever you go! I signed it so which means that I need to show these behaviour!!

1st day of tech

 On 26th of Feb, the year 7 & 8’s from Tamaki Primary School hopped on the bus to ride to Tamaki College for technology. When we arrived we got into our groups, I was in group B with Mr Grundy. I had my friends and some of my classmates, other students from different classes in my group too.

We were introduced to our 1st technology teacher, Mr Grungy. He makes toys out of small pieces of wood. It looked marvelous when I took one step into our new class! We were told to draw a sketch of eight toys we want to make, I drew: a skateboard, a jewelry tree, a piano, a box, stove, m&m dispenser, and 2 more.

I enjoyed drawing my toys and also exploring all the amazing toys that our teacher made! I just can't wait to go again next week!
